Dieses Mal zeigen wir eine Bewegungsrecherche zur Stille in einer Stadtlandschaft, voller unendlicher und unterschiedlicher Töne und Geräusche. Das Warten auf die Stille lädt uns dazu ein, uns zu bewegen. Es geht um das Warten und die unermesslichen Nuancen, die daraus entstehen. Das Warten, besonders die Stille, ist der Impuls für die Bewegungen, ebenso wie die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf das Warten. Berlin als der Bezugspunkt unserer Recherche verbindet unterschiedliche Vorstellungen und Erfahrungen und sogar Klischees. In unserem Showing geht es um Orte, die öffentlich sind, wobei das Stück in einem mehr oder weniger öffentlichen Raum, dem Studio, entstanden ist. Wir tanzen unsere Vorstellung von dem Alltag in Berlin. Hier werden Probleme umgangen, Blicke ignoriert und gleichzeitig kommuniziert, getanzt und gewartet… Ein Sammelsurium aus dunklen Ecken, Distraktionen, entspannten Launen, permanente Verlorenheit und gleichzeitig voller Überraschung!
Die Choreografie ist im Rahmen des “Dancing Choreography”- Kurses im Herbst 2016 gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmer*innen und Johanne Castillo Bro erarbeitet worden.

This is a showing of movement research which grew out of an interest in and focus on the notion of silence in the cacophonous city. We began the process by immersion in silence, asking ourselves if and how we were urged to move in this context. Springing from this, the movement of our performance negotiates the spaces and tensions between silence, waiting, movement, and inertia. As a shared referenced point, the city of Berlin helps us to draw together experiences and images, even those which are cliche. We dance out our notions of everyday life in Berlin, reenacting public space within the interiority of the studio. Looks are ignored, problems avoided, and yet interaction and the creation of something shared persists. Together, we move through darkness, distraction, passivity, and activity — a sense of existing in a place in which one is permanently lost and yet is full of surprise and connection.
