“In 1985, Melvyn Bragg interviewed Francis Bacon for the South Bank Show. They both got a bit drunk and started chatting about art, society, culture and the world.

In 2012, Stephen Crowe set it to music. This exciting, unique and above all weird little opera follows this interview, drawing out the ridiculous comedy from it all.It promises to be a hilariously weird night of odd and experimental opera.”
